Jackie Small is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut. Her professional experience spans over nearly 20 years as a clinician in school, agency and private practice settings. Jackie holds a BA in Psychology from The University of Central Florida; 1999 and an MA in Mental Health Counseling from Manhattan College; 2004.
In 2014 Jackie opened up a private practice in Fairfield, CT. In addition to her continued work supporting expectant and postpartum women, Jackie is trained in a variety of other methodologies. She uses these skills and knowledge in her work supporting people seeking treatment and guidance.
In her current practice, Jackie works with children, teens and adults. She offers both in person and teletherapy. Jackie uses a holistic approach when working with clients and seeks to help them understand the root causes of their mental health symptoms.
Additionally, Jackie is an educator and offers workshops and groups for a variety or populations, including other clinicians. Jackie offers supervision and consultation services to new perinatal clinicians. She is available for mentorship and coaching to clinicians seeking to specialize in the perinatal population.
